Hi! I’m Magnolia.
I’m in love with the Earth — and with life.
And I bet if you’re here, you are too…
…at least a little bit 😉
I believe that our bodies will lead us back into alignment with the Earth.
I believe that we all contain wisdom needed to navigate these times.
And I believe that reuniting with and expression our unique, creative, brilliance is foundational to breathing life into the transformation we long to see in this world.
My Story of Separation
For years, I thought that if I worked hard and hustled enough — if I could just do more — then I would feel better and the Earth would get the time/energy/and attention she needed to heal. Statistics about climate change and the fragility of our food system scared me, so I reacted with urgency, with frantic hustle, and with what I now recognize as desperation. What I failed to grasp at the time was that I am an expression of the Earth, just in the way that the trees, flowers, and herbs are that I so revered and wanted to tend so they could thrive, even when it was at the expense of myself. I realized that as long as I was exploiting myself — no matter how justified of a cause — I was also exploiting an aspect of the Earth. It wasn’t a sustainable strategy for either of us, let alone one that was adaptive or generative or gave back to her in a meaningful way.
I was exhausted. I was hurting. And my body was struggling. I couldn’t show up for anything in the ways that I wanted to…
A simple thing transformed my life — Remembering
Through remembering relationship with plants, I began to re-sensitize to the wisdom of the Earth and my own wisdom…and I felt myself fall back in love — I felt re-enchanted with life and re-inspired to work towards my dreams, goals, and visions.
Through remembering that my body needs consistent and nourishing care, I have been able to grow my nervous system capacity to courageously express my truth, to shed old patterns, to be both bold and gentle, and to prioritize my needs so that I can show up for others without resentment (and show up for myself without guilt).
Through remembering magic and divinity, I have recovered a connection to faith that has given me tremendous ground to trust and practices to return to that keep me connected to something far more vast and miraculous than I ever before dreamed.
We are living in a MOMENT — a big one on this planet, in our communities, and in ourselves. Do you feel it?
I believe that we all have something meaningful to contribute to the healing of this world — you included. So if you are feeling discouraged, stressed, or overwhelmed, if you aren’t sure where your motivation has gone or why things feel like they are falling apart, I am here for you. I am here to support you, advocate for you, and champion for you so that you can champion for the change you want to see in the world.
Your vibrancy and aliveness is a gift for the world, and more will feel possible when you live from this place.
I promise.
